The good news is there's a quest to kill nearly every boss in Outland. The attunement quests cover Nightbane (there's a quest to kill Prince too, if Blizz has trouble deciding which is the "end" boss of Kara), Gruul, Vashj, Kael, and Magtheridon. Then there's the quest to kill Illidan and get your Blessed Medallion of Karabor. So for those who've cleared the Outland raids, you'll only have to go back and kill Archimonde and Kil'Jaeden for credit. Hyjal is a quick clear and not too much of a pain. KJ will be rough though... even at level 80.
In the Wrath of the Lich King forums, particularly, Blizzard has been wonderfully candid. One blue response addressed the apparent "bloat" in the new talent trees, a sentiment I've heard more than a few times, including from our readers. Blizzard has been rather vocal in the community lately, a nice change from the long bouts of silence that usually echoes in the official forums.
Having them usable should, of course, clear that up, though there's some argument now as to whether the nerf they took in the process was too harsh. In other news, They're looking at firming up other passive tanking abilities as well. Deep Unholy, they say, may need an additional passive tanking talent to match Will of the Necropolis and Acclimation. Anti-Magic Shell will also be getting some buffs. It will be made non-dispellable at the least, and may include immunity to DoTs and magical debuffs.
Lightweave Embroidery - Embroiders a subtle pattern of light into your cloak, giving you a chance to cause an additional 800 to 1000 Holy damage when you damage an enemy with a spell. You can only embroider your own cloak and embroidering your cloak will cause it to become soulbound.
Larisa over at The Pink Pigtail Inn mused on an interesting question the other day: Should you pay for the wipes you cause? Her feeling is not only that you shouldn't, but that the mere fact of offering to pay is offensive to her, like offering hush-money or a bribe. Instead, she says, apologize quickly and confess what you did so that others can learn from your mistakes.
